Chunsan Group Indonesia and FTMD-ITB Sign Collaboration Agreement to Advance Salt Making Technologies
Bandung, Indonesia – June 4, 2024 – In a significant move to bolster the development of salt making methods and technologies in Indonesia, Chunsan Group Indonesia and the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) have signed a Collaboration Agreement. This partnership aims to support the acceleration of national saltworks development in line with Presidential Regulation No.126 of 2022.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Hyun Lee, CEO of Chunsan Group, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, Dean of FTMD-ITB. The signing ceremony was also attended by key representatives from both organizations, including Arini Lee, Chief of Business Administration Officer at Chunsan Group Indonesia, Dr. Ir. Hermawan Judawisastra, M.Eng., Vice Dean for Resources at FTMD-ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bagus Budiwantoro from the Mechanical Design Department, and Dr. Sri Raharno, MT., from the Mechanical Production Engineering Department at FTMD-ITB.
This collaboration is set to initiate a series of activities beneficial to both parties, focusing on the development of innovative salt production technologies. These initiatives are expected to enhance the efficiency and quality of salt production, contributing significantly to the national goal of accelerating the development of saltworks across Indonesia.
