BANDUNG, polban.ac.id – The Bandung State Polytechnic (Polban) and PT Chunsan Petani Jaya strengthened their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday (4/10). The MoU, held at the Polban Directorate Building, was signed by the Director of Polban, Marwansyah, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., and the President Director of PT Chunsan Petani Jaya, Hyun Lee.

With this MoU, both parties agreed to cooperate in the development of high-quality salt production equipment. This initiative, which will be carried out on the Polban campus, includes various aspects such as knowledge exchange and technology transfer to support the project. Additionally, Polban students will be directly involved in this project.

Polban is committed to providing a dedicated team, facilities, and supporting the design, manufacture, and installation processes of the high-quality salt production equipment. The developed equipment will later be tested in the Pangandaran area, in collaboration with the Pangandaran Marine and Fisheries Polytechnic.

This MoU also opens up opportunities for human resource development, research, and community service. Furthermore, this agreement can support the increase in capacity and quantity of infrastructure, governance development, and various other activities agreed upon by both parties.

Paula Santi Rudati, M.Si., the Deputy Director of Student Affairs at Polban, Dr. Tomy Andrianto, S.S.T., M.M.Par., the Head of the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) at Polban, Dr. Yackob Astor, S.T., M.T., as well as the Director of PT Chunsan Petani Jaya, Arini Lee. Both parties are optimistic that this collaboration will make a positive contribution to industry development and the improvement of education quality. (dhi)
